AU Hillel is housed in the Kay Spiritual Life Center, a dynamic interfaith center that offers students unique opportunities to learn and socialize alongside peers from a wide range of backgrounds.

The Kay Center opened in 1965, the same year that AU Hillel was established.  Its presence on campus was made possible through the generosity of Abraham Kay, of blessed memory, a Jewish business leader and AU trustee who immigrated from Russia to the Washington area as a child.  Kay is home to nearly two dozen communities and regularly hosts lectures, musical performances, and other special events.
