Birthright Israel
AU Hillel brings dozens of students to Israel each winter and summer on our campus Birthright Israel trips. Students can climb Masada, touch the Western Wall, float in the Dead Sea, and so much more - all for free, and all with fellow AU students! Our next trip is scheduled to begin on December 28, 2022.
Birthright Israel is an innovative partnership between the State of Israel, private philanthropists, and Jewish communities around the world.
JLF: Home and Homeland
This new track of the Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) will be offered in spring 2023. Over eight weeks, students will explore what Israel and the concepts of home and homeland mean to them and what they've meant to Jews throughout our history.
Those who fulfill the Fellowship expectations earn a stipend. No prior experience with the topic required.

AU Perspectives
AU Perspectives is Hillel’s campus leaders trip to Israel. This unique program provides undergraduate student leaders from a wide range of backgrounds with a unique opportunity to explore the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in all its complexity. Participants visit critical sites in the region and meet with Israeli and Palestinian politicians, journalists, and activists. Our next trip is scheduled for January 2023.
