An active member of the pro-Israel movement while a student, David held most of the leadership roles in AU Students for Israel in his four years at AU. His leadership lead to joint College Democrat and Republican pro-Israel statements, a program feature at AIPAC's Policy Conference, and rapid response coordination on many issues.
Discussing his involvement on the Board of Directors of AU Hillel David said that "AU Hillel provided me with many great opportunities and experiences, and I want to ensure that current AU students are given the opportunities to experience Jewish life at AU and grow as members of the Jewish community as I did."
